Farm hands and feet
The hands and feet are what keeps the farm running. We are the chorekeepers. Then we have our four legged friends. Callie is the indoor cat. She lives inside and keeps the mice outside. At times, she likes to enjoy a daily walk about outside. She has been with us for many many years. I think she actually believes that the children are hers. We have a few farm cats to rid the farm of pesky mice.
We have an Anatolian Shepherd, livestock guardian dog (LGD). She is as sweet and laid back as they come. She watches over the farm and protects her home with a smile. She is very serious about her work. She does not tolerate squabbles between the animals. As soon as a dispute starts, she is there to break it up. And last but not least is Zoe. She is a little couch potato during the day. But at night she is right beside our LDG protecting the farm. She has been around longer than any of the other dogs that have come, eaten chickens and gone on to other homes. She has quite a lofty opinion of herself.
