Kune Kune Piglets

from 600.00

Kune Kune pigs are a heritage breed pasture pig. They are smaller than commerical pigs, docile and easily trained. The sow is a great momma pig and raises her piglets in a pasture. Kune Kune pigs can fatten in pasture with alfalfa hay to supplement during the winter. We have 5 piglets left born 3/21/18. 2 boars and 3 gilts. Ginger and black spotted and black, black and white spotted. They have AKKPS registration papers started and are waiting for the new owners to name them before finalization. Our boar bloodlines are Mahia Love/Rona and the sow bloodlines are Jenny/Tonganui. Our Kune Kunes live in a natural orchard and are supplemented with alfalfa as needed. We do not feed commercial feed. Pics 1 and 2 are males/boars. Pics 3, 4 and 5 are females/gilts. Last pic is a group pic with the mama sow. Vet references available upon request. Check out our farm at Prairiecreekkids.com. Males $600. Females $850.
